Welcome to Blue Monday Stashers! Since a few weeks ago when our esteemed host, “Double R” mentioned the unbelievable statistic of one in every hundred American Citizens living behind bars, I have been thinking about the real reason we must stop the war on drugs; it’s a war on people. Today’s song from artist DAVIS COEN goes out to our brothers and sisters of the cannabis community who are paying the price in this unnecessary war. Today’s musical hit is called “DEA Blues” and unfortunately too many in our community have had to sing a similar tune. Davis calls Charleston, South Carolina home and has toured in the US with such blues greats as James Cotton, North Mississippi All-Stars and John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers.
