Hempday Humpday!  Git yerself some hempy food and chow down!  I’m starting to pick up more hemp foods lately and they really are tasty and good for you.  Ever try raw hempseed?  Tastes kinda like cashews.

Today for our dose of Cannabis Science we’re visiting with Dr. Earleywine about creativity.  Does smoking the herb help with creativity.  After the first time I heard Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, I figured, sure it does!  But would the Beatles and all those great writers, artists, poets, musicians, and painters who enjoyed cannabis (and lots of other things) have been as creative in abstinence?  What do you think?

In my life, I know there have been some really difficult database design problems I’ve solved in a flash after a good sativa and a nap, problems that dogged me when I was sober.  But did I just need a nap?  Musically I always felt more in command of the stage after a couple puffs and a shot of Southern Comfort.  But was that just overcoming stage fright?
