Howdy, Stashers! I say “howdy” because I am back in Idaho and that’s how we say “hello”.I’m enjoying a fine time at my folks’ place. Dad’s got huge Boise State and Green Bay banners hanging in the living room and we enjoyed the Mountain West winning their second bowl game over a PAC-10 team. The dogs have my mom’s big ol’ yard to run around in. Today we visit my wife’s family (the drinkers) for Xmas Eve, and tomorrow is Xmas here with my brothers and nieces and presents. Saturday my youngest brother bought us all tickets to “Avatar” in 3D, and Sunday is a Seahawks/Packers game with Mom and Dad (and the local FOX station, being in the PacNW, will show the Seahawks game).
I hope you’re having an enjoyable time this holiday season. I think of all of you as I write these posts and record these podcasts, some fortunate enough to be in one of the “free” states but so many more of you who live in oppression for your marijuana use. I won’t stop until we can all celebrate the yuletide spirit with a fine bowl of STRAAIINS! I hope my adventures and reporting allow you to live somewhat vicariously through me.

I’m glad that Boise has a few awesome parents like yours. Mine were fine with cannabis once I was a “responsible adult” and had successfully allayed their fears of possibly having sired a son who might lead a “lazy, no account cannabis zombie” life…
Absolutely. Dad’s a former addict who became a drug counselor and he’s completely cool with what I do. Mom’s a church-goer and former special-ed teacher and she’s proud as well.
