Roger Alan Wade has a famous cousin, Johnny Knoxville, and his album is by Knoxville’s record label (who knew Johnny Knoxville took time away from his groin-punishing antics to run a record label company?). All Jackass references aside, Roger’s music sells itself. He has written music for many of country music’s greats and he wrote the number one country hit, “Country State of Mind” that was recorded by Hank Williams Jr. This is a stripped down sound with a great folksy arrangement and Wade’s voice fits well into his laid-back country genre. Wade calls Chattanooga, Tennessee home.
