Missippi Hippy

I have been told that when a story starts with the words, "I was born...", ya knew you were in trouble, so... here is me. I was born in 1955, in a medium sized city in West Virginia. This is where I lived until I joined the military in 1975. This is also where, at the age of 15, I started toking. My military career was spent keeping my front in place... work hard and play hard. I was deeply "in the closet" for the entire 20 years, with one exception. I successfully steered a US Naval vessel to pay for a "party"... 'nuff said. I was married for a while (24 years) and raised 4 children after a divorce through their teenage years, successfully. I have 5 kids. Two of them nurses or nurses to be. Two of them are US Marines. The other one is a US Soldier. I also have 11 grandchildren. Other than my 20 years in the military, I am a musician (Jazz/Blues) playing sax and violin (sex & violence), photographer, poet, writer, farmer, beer brewer, chandler, mead maker, carpenter, did some work in the adult entertainment industry for 6 years, daddy and grampa. I now live off the land in Northwestern Minnesota and in my spare time I fight for cannabis legalization.

And for GODS SAKE someone tell Cheech and Chong to stop saying Schedual II it needs to be Schedual III or even V!! Unless, of course, no body wants a refill on their prescription.

So its official Bill O Reiley doesn’t care what adults want to do with their own bodies!!! That being said why dont we just let RESPONSIBLE adults buy and consume Cannabis and target our law enforcement to go after people who do sell to minors!! I know as an adult many folks would be quick to call authorities if they saw minors buying Cannabis just like they do with alchohol at the convienient store!

My reaction to your response to this clip,
    “R” Russ:

Since Bill-O’ and all of the other prohibitionists seem to be homing in on that “But what about the children?!” BS, I think the way that you’ve just phrased it is the ideal response; one that we should all emulate… Putting it that way makes it apparent that their way does more harm than good, and exposes their arguments as fallacious and flimsy. If it’s really all about the children, then make it harder for them to get it — regulate it!

    Good job. :2thumbs:

Now, let’s see about getting you that Oprah gig…Ofcourse they’d have the obligatory anti-pot propagandist, and you’d be the ideal rebutter to Bill or that idiot “General” McCaffrey, or even the current drug stooge, er, czar, whatever he is…Curlycowspie? I’m not sure of the spelling.

:whoa: Oops, sorry “M”Hippy! You write a lot like “R” Russ. My bad, but don’t you think he’d be the ideal Oprah guest, the way he speaks represents? :rockin:

Well Im surprised Bill wasnt more, um, More Bill like. ANyhow they hit it out of the park on the Alcohol is worse and they woldnt want kids drinking but adults can so they should be able to smoke too.

And he they promoted there new tour and thats a good thing, Im still shocked as Bill in the past has been very critical of marijuana and I have heard him say adults can smoke he doesnt care, but latly he has been a hard core prohibitionest and Im just shocked he backed off for them.

Not sure what this means if anything, what will he say the next day about it is the truth test.
