Here’s something strange I found in my Inbox today – has anyone ever heard of the Blu Electronic Cigarette?
1. How does blu work?
blu works with a small rechargeable battery and a unique, safe replaceable cartridge that contains water, propylene glycol, nicotine, a scent that emulates a tobacco, and other flavorings exclusive to blu. When you inhale it activates the atomizer which releases simulated smoke that is actually water vapor.
11. What are the ingredients in e-liquid?
blu cartridges contain nicotine (in levels of high, medium, low and no nicotine), propylene glycol, tobacco flavoring, and other flavoring ingredients exclusive to blu. These cartridges come in various flavors and nicotine levels to satisfy the needs of a variety of smokers. Propylene glycol is a water-based ingredient found in many health products and medicines. None of the ingredients in the cartridges have been found to be carcinogenic.
18. Is blu healthier than traditional cigarettes?
Yes, blu does not contain the tar and carcinogens associated with traditional tobacco cigarettes. It simply provides the smoker with a small dose of nicotine to satisfy their cravings.
The marketing pitch I got on this email focused on the idea that blu users get these benefits:
- You can smoke anywhere – eCigs release odorless, harmless water vapor. No smoke!
- Creates no ash or waste, and emits no unpleasant odors that cling to hair and clothes
- No more outdoor smoke breaks; you can smoke right at your desk, increasing productivity
But I’m thinking about the vaporization here – if this thing takes off, will it be the “killer app” that breaks vaporization into the public consciousness?
I have a few questions about Blucigs and basically all ecigs. Is there a chance that I could be inhaling any of the contents located in the battery?
However, on the bright side I’ve been smoking ecigs for about 2 weeks and my blood pressure is almost normal now. Before switching to ecigs from regular cigarettes my blood pressure hovered at very dangerous levels.
In addition, I have little to absolutely no chest congestion. Does anyone know of any righteous study of how they are better than normal cigarettes?
I have the Blu cig and I’m wondering if anyone makes packaged hash oil pouch/inserts for purchase, anyone have any info on this?
Aside from what people are doing with E-Cigs here, in general the E-Cigarette or Nicotine Inhalation Stick is by far the best method to stop smoking traditional or Analog Cigarettes. Only catch is the ALA is trying to ban them, they would prefer people smoke tobacco.
The E-Cig comes in many stiles including an E-Pipe. Your best bet is to google it. You can buy on-line or even from your local tobacco shop, yes even they know the future is here.
For the most part, the promotion of these as an aid to stop smoking is word of mouth for those that have used it. I’m now 3 weeks tobacco free and it works.
I sure hope it didn’t kill him. :P
Oh, and a note to everyone else: If you do put thc-containing oil in the cartridge, it’s a bad idea to use a tincture(etc) which has isopropyl alcohol in it. Inhaling that stuff can be quite bad.
This post is really informative. If you can’t leave your smoking habit immediately you can switch to the smokeless electronic cigarette or e-cigs with which you can really save yourself and your surroundings from the risks that are associated with smoking any traditional cigarette..
I have an Iolite and a Blu Cig, I like the Blue Cig way better to be honest. The Ioilite takes like 8 minutes to heat up, it doesn’t work super great, and it gets hot, and its bulky and requires a lot of cleaning and maintenance. If you’re going to spend a lot of money on a vape you’re better off getting a hot box or volcano.
Hey, what happened to Ryan?
Take a bit, grind it to dust, and use a teabag and mix it with vegetable glycerine or if you want, the nicotine juice instead (you’re making a base for the THC to mix with and the vegetable glycerine, or propylene glycol seem to work for me with this method). Leave it for a while, then suspend the teabag and drip dry for a couple of days inside a container. Then roll up the teabag with any dust left inside it and use it as filler in the e cigarette mouthpiece (cart). It works great for me. Use a lipton pyramid teabag, it helps to “wick” the juice up to the heating element (atomiser). For those who want to vape nicotine as well it’s a good idea to devote one cart and atomiser just for the ganja. Use an eyedropper to drip it into the cart or directly onto the atomiser, and vape away. Less than a gram has kept me with a nice little bottle full. And it seems to draw more THC from the teabag as well as it goes, adding a rich flavour.
To make thc work in e cig you need prop glycol and good hash oil. heat miX and then apply to empty cartridge and vape. ive been using it exclusively with the hash oil mix and $its awesome.

I have a BLU electronic cigarette myself and it works great, using it about few months and haven’t had any problems with it yet.The best part about my experience is that electronic cigarette device has helped me quit smoking traditional tobacco cigs for good :) so I can freely suggest an electronic cigarette to those who are considering a better & safer alternative.. :)

check out the iolite. the revolution has already arrived.
hand held portable vaporization, but it comes at a price… $233 US to be exact.
Ok, so I got a blucig, and it seems to work well with the nicotine cartridges that are meant to be used with it.
Also, there is now a company that sells “Smoke Juice” so you can refill your own cartridges, rather than buying more.

So, clearly there is a way to load the cartridges for smnoking weed/THC.
Can someone please point me to a resource that explains how to smoke weed via vaporization? Is the weed “processed” before vaporization? What is the processed form of the herb prior to inhaling the vapors? Do you think that weed could be processed, as if you were going to vaporize it, and then it could be added to the smoke juice?
Surely there is a way to use an e-cigarette to inhale vapors that contain THC. Any ideas?
Had a blu cig for awhile. They’re a good thing if you just like to smoke constantly, since you can bring it wherever, but no where near like a real cigarette. I’ve tried using it with weed, but that didn’t work. I’m considering trying a THC oil, but my guess is that the atomizer on the blue cig doesn’t get hot enough (350-400 degrees) to vaporize THC.
Proud owner of a blu cig for awhile. Great e
i am going to try it tonight. im going to make oil and try it in an ecig
I agree, i saw this in a stand at the mall and was actually about to pick one up just to try it out. I mean, a vaporizor for marijuana basically just bakes the weed so you can get THC out easily and alot healthier…so could I just grind some up and let it bake?
Great post. I picked up a Blu a little while back. I was thinking of trying to take a Maridol and dilute it and see if you can smoke it out of an ecig.
Switch to e-smoking and share your e-smoking experience with us and get US $10. Conditions apply.
We’d really love to hear from you!

Let me get this strait, this thing doesnt burn anything it creates water vapor and a shot of flavor and nictine along with it?
So in theory we could make a THC replaceable cartridge instead of the Nicotine and we could have smokless Marijuana water vapor?
This sounds better than vaporizing, no heat, more like an inhaler? This could revolutionize the medical marijuana fight, takes all the smoking and ill effects out of the picture.
See with vaporizing it still looks like smoke to those that do not know and thats why vaporizing really hasnt changed peoples minds in the medical fight! You can tell people till your blue in the face but just like marijuana they believe what they want, even if its wrong and what they see, they see smoke comming from that vaporizer!
Yeah we did a story on this at my news station, my friend is getting some. I am curious if you can just load in weed instead, if so I’M THERE! I doubt it tho, but I hope that they do start making some that you can. Smoke anywhere whaaaaaaat?
Basically it is just a mini-handheld vaporizer. Small as a cigarette itself. I, like you, am hoping that if it catches on people will realize that not all smoking is harmful. Then what will they say are the negative effects of smoking bud? I’m sure they’ll think of some new BS.
