I am the producer of The NORML Network, the host of the NORML SHOW LIVE and The NORML Stash Blog, and NORML's Outreach Coordinator. I'm married, live in Portland, Oregon, and I am a registered medical marijuana caregiver in this state. I've worked days as an IT geek and nights as a professional musician. Previously, I have been the host of my own political talk radio show on satellite radio. I've been the High Times "Freedom Fighter of the Month" and I travel across the country to educate people on marijuana reform. I've dedicated my life to bringing an end to adult marijuana prohibition and re-legalizing cannabis hemp, and I'm honored to be chosen by NORML to give voice to the Marijuana Nation and to speak for those who can't speak up.

Or did you mean Russ’s “fuck it”
and the use of the word ass in the phrase “kicks your ass?”

those two and my use of the term B.S.
are the extent of profanity I could find…

and as to my use of the term B.S. I suppose I could have said “Pile of muh-nurr” like a farmer instead…

I think you need to smoke a joint and lighten up… lol.

When these prohibitionists talk about the use of “medical marijuana” by “healthy” people just wanting the high, are they acknowledging that there is no physical danger in using marijuana?

This idea that one must suffer an amount equal to each bit of pleasure is an ideal of the Christian right.
The idea is that most pleasures qualify as a SIN in the eyes of God and one must repent for those SINS.
Like Russ said in the piece, many who use MJ suffer very little through years of use so they aren’t forced to suffer for that SIN.

Many in or government are fond of saying “this nation was founded on Christian beliefs”
My rebuttal to that is; When our nations was founded almost 100% of the people came from the same narrow background with a equally thin set of values.
Today our nation has grown to it’s current glory through our diversity and range of ideas.
I’m so tired of the old ideas and narrow points of view.

    OMG… What a weiner….

It would be funny to read the prohibitionist pack of lies he spews if there weren’t people out there believing it due to the lack of anyone to counter his total B.S. with ACTUAL science, as opposed to his diatribe that mentions science but flies in the face of all reason, science included.

Yes, I’d love to have a card, but as a 20+ year daily cannabis user, I’ve failed to develop any health problems, despite the health hazards of cigarette smoking, having a cup or real half and half in my coffee in the AM daily, and a generally high fat(whole, real, animal and vegetable fats), and high sugar diet, I can’t seem to make myself obese or unhealthy.

Maybe it’s the cannabis… We’ll never know for sure until you prohibitionists let go of the apron strings of the Nanny state, and allow cannabis users to be the unpersecuted subjects of real research, with real medicine.

Did you notice that this absolute shit came from a fucking press release?

That’s right, after the end of the Clinton administration, Robert Weiner was able to find work with the firm of …. SOURCE Robert Weiner Associates Issues Strategies:

    Robert Weiner Associates Issues Strategies
Bob Weiner, +1-301-283-0821; or Rebecca Vander Linde, +1-202-306-1200

Well congratulations, asshole. Glad to see you’re doing alright for yourself and not sleeping on the street.

Meanwhile there are people with acute suffering from painful and terminal diseases who receive relief and sometimes even notable improvement from medical cannabis. And this guy is going around calling them liars. I hope that money makes him feel good. He obviously has no shame.
