Back in March, 20 year old Acea Schomaker stuffed a cat into a bong and smoked it. The cat lived, and Acea was fined. Well, he finds himself in trouble with the law once more.
LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) – A young Lincoln man who acknowledged putting a hyper kitten in a homemade bong to calm it with marijuana smoke has been ticketed again on a pot charge.
Lincoln police say 20-year-old Acea (ACE-ah) Schomaker (SHOE-maker) also was cited for being a minor in possession of alcohol.
Police Capt. David Beggs say Schomaker was ticketed by officers who were called to a disturbance Saturday night. They took Schomaker to be Cornhusker Place Detox.
Beggs says officers found 1.7 grams of suspected marijuana in a plastic bag in 1 of Schomaker’s pockets.
In March, after his first brush with notoriety in the bong cat incident, Schomaker told The Associated Press that he was swearing off marijuana.
Pot doesn’t make you stupid, but some people are just too stupid to smoke pot.

You people are assholes for trashing Acea. This is not a stupid stoner story. This guy’s cat case was a legitamate medical cannabis story where a previously abused kitten was suffering spinal damage and was crazy with chronic pain and spasms. When a human with this condition gets cannabis medicine we don’t call it a stupid stoner story.
Dudemaster, It is hardly “contributing” when you comment on lies that pigs and prosecuors put into the media as if they were gospel truth. Your writing is more fit for an anti-pot blog than NORML’s stash.
Oh, puhlease. If your cat is suffering, you take your cat to a vet, you don’t stuff it in a box and asphyxiate it with cannabis smoke. If you can afford an ounce of weed in Lincoln, Nebraska, you can afford a trip to the vet.
Even if I did accept the notion of medical meowuana, you give it to the cat as an edible. Animals do not have a concept of smoking and their instincts tell them smoke = fire = death. Poor thing was probably terrified in that box.
And sorry, getting busted again with weed and minor-in-possession of alcohol, being somewhere where cops would be called for a “disturbance”, just three months after you make headlines for being the Cat-a-Bonger, does qualify for Stupid Stonerdom.
Finally, once again with the “pigs” attitude. Do you know that most people we’re trying to convince to legalize pot actually like, trust, and respect police officers? So when you come ranting about “lying pigs”, you put yourself on the wrong side of the frame if you’re trying to win them over. Was it a lie that Acea hat marijuana on him? Was it a lie that Acea was 20 years old and had alcohol on him? Seems like the only lie in the story was Acea swearing off marijuana.
