Prop 19 is the best thing to happen to medical marijuana patients since Prop 215
Since there still remains a vocal – and rude – contingent of Stoners Against Legalization allied with the Cooleys, Trutanichs, and Dumanises who hate medical marijuana, I bring you yet another reading of Prop 215. This time, though, you don’t need to trust my uneducated interpretations. The following comes from J. David Nick, famed California medical marijuana attorney who has never lost a state marijuana case in court and has defended Brownie Mary, Dennis Peron, and Steve Kubby.

NORML Women’s Alliance welcomes PotCouture.com
PotCouture.com fills the vacuum left by the over-abundance of pot-themed websites and publications that contain little to no content that would be of interest to contemporary, professional women. This magazine cuts out the perfect niche for us women who simply like to use cannabis and appreciate reading about the unique experiences of other women who do the same. Does cannabis use during pregnancy reduce infant mortality rates? More study is definitely necessary, yet scientific data appears to suggest just that.

Oregon NORML represents at Komen Race for the Cure
Showing their pride as the emcee acknowledged their participation, about a dozen walkers on the streets were from the Oregon Chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML). Their slogan was: “It’s NORML to Race for the Cure”.
“We want to inspire and challenge other NORML chapters to participate in their community’s race. We walk for all NORML members and their families who are fighting or have fought breast cancer. I am very proud of our team this afternoon,” said another NORML team member. “With the determination I saw from this community, it’s only a matter of time before a cure is found.”
How to debate Anti-Prop 19 Stoners Against Legalization
After viewing the Prop 19 “debate” at HempCon and battling many of these Stoners Against Legalization online, I’ve come up with some simple rhetorical tools for dealing with these terribly misguided individuals. Unfotunately, I feel like the YES campaign is making a mistake Democrats make in elections: depending on facts, logic, reason, and people voting for their own best interests. Here are my suggestions for attacking the anti-Prop 19 side, fighting their emotion with more powerful emotion, attacking their strengths and using it against them, and redefining the frames.

Representing No on 19: Dispensary Owner Lanette Davies, Dispensary Attorney Letitia Pepper, and (eventually) Professional Stoner Dragonfly de la Luz.
