Change.org – Ideas for Changing America: Legalize the Medicinal and Recreational Use of Marijuana
The Obama Administration is looking for public input on our ideas for changing America. While Obama’s site is Change.gov, a related site, Change.org, has opened up as an independent board for promoting ideas for change to the new administration.
This group, dedicated to legalization, is currently the top criminal justice reform issue on the website, with 875 signers so far. Visit the link above and use its tools to spread the word to the entire cannabis community. As my friend Madeline Martinez says, “Alone we are just one voice, but together we make a mighty roar that can shake the halls of Congress!”
When you click the VOTE button, you’ll be prompted for your Change.org account. If you don’t have one, they only need your email address to create one. When you receive their email and click the confirmation link, your vote can then be tallied.
This is a competition and the ideas with the most votes make it to the next round. Let’s be sure that cannabis law reform stays at the top!
