I am the producer of The NORML Network, the host of the NORML SHOW LIVE and The NORML Stash Blog, and NORML's Outreach Coordinator. I'm married, live in Portland, Oregon, and I am a registered medical marijuana caregiver in this state. I've worked days as an IT geek and nights as a professional musician. Previously, I have been the host of my own political talk radio show on satellite radio. I've been the High Times "Freedom Fighter of the Month" and I travel across the country to educate people on marijuana reform. I've dedicated my life to bringing an end to adult marijuana prohibition and re-legalizing cannabis hemp, and I'm honored to be chosen by NORML to give voice to the Marijuana Nation and to speak for those who can't speak up.

Sanjay Gupta is a noted proponent of Big Pharma, and not just because of his attacks on Sicko.

Stay optimistic, but open your eyes.
If you figure your best interests are different than Pfizer’s or GlaxoSmithKline’s, find a different doctor.
Besides TV journalism (an oxymoron), Gupta’s training is limited to neurosurgery.
Gupta’s journalism has been criticized by journalists and teachers for being simplistic and inaccurate. Perfect for American TV!

The brain has no pain receptors, so he is no expert on pain (like many doctors), or on the chronic pain experienced by many Americans.

I believe Obama is getting some bad advice from a bunch of moderates and conservatives.

Happy 40th birthday, War on Drugs!

I agree that Dr. Gupta has been known to spout Gov’t BS, but lets remember who was signing his check. CNN,Time Mag. these are huge players in the MSM.
I’m sure that they had alot to do with his willingness to “toe the federal line”.
Unless we can find somthing more I am willing to belive that Dr. Gupta is capable of following the science. He has supported many of the fundamental facts behind our belief in medical marijuana.
I will stay optimistic and say if Dr. Gupta contiues to support MedMJ he has the potential to influnce many others in Washington DC. This guy may turn out to be our best hope so far from the Obama camp.
I want to believe that Obama has a plan!
