I am the producer of The NORML Network, the host of the NORML SHOW LIVE and The NORML Stash Blog, and NORML's Outreach Coordinator. I'm married, live in Portland, Oregon, and I am a registered medical marijuana caregiver in this state. I've worked days as an IT geek and nights as a professional musician. Previously, I have been the host of my own political talk radio show on satellite radio. I've been the High Times "Freedom Fighter of the Month" and I travel across the country to educate people on marijuana reform. I've dedicated my life to bringing an end to adult marijuana prohibition and re-legalizing cannabis hemp, and I'm honored to be chosen by NORML to give voice to the Marijuana Nation and to speak for those who can't speak up.

Perp deserved what he got. How many people did he endanger by going the wrong way on the road? Yeah so he’s laying down. They should have beat his ass.

Let’s run from the cops, endanger innocent people, then cry about it when we get our asses kicked, after we surrendor. What a bunch of cry babies you are.

52% say yes? How on earth can you justify a cop kicking a person in the head after he’s surrendered? This is insane! :loco:

I meant cut. Damn my typonese.

Unbelievable. Did anyone notice at the end (before the tape was cute) where the cop straightened out the sustects leg to the dog, almost like.. “Here ya go boy, fresh meat”.

When we were “busted” they made us lay on the hot asphalt and held guns to the back of our heads. I was terrified, what if he flinched. I’ve never used a weapon or committed any acts of violence in my life, there were no weapons and we were in the open daylight in a parking lot at a popular fast food restaurant. They manhandled us and called us all sorts of foul things. Why is it necessary to abuse a suspected ‘criminal’, ESPECIALLY when they are non-violent and NOT RESISTING. This is exactly why people DO NOT stand up for their rights, overzealous cops who think it’s “cool” to beat up “bad guys”.

I am so ashamed of how our officers react under stress! One would think they would be taught better, with all the resources they have.I quess they spend it all on The WAR ON DRUGS.I agree Big Doug..TO PUNISH and ENSLAVE.Just makes me want to puke. :-|

This officer will probably get off scott free too. After all, if we put him in jail for simply kicking a defenseless, surrendering, criminal in the head he would be taking up a cell in our already crowded prisons. That cell would certainly be better used to house an evil medical marijuana patient, or a young college honor student that sells a joint, or a guy driving with a roach in his ash tray…you know “real” criminals. They might even tack on an “assaulting a police officer” charge to this suspect for attempting to break the officers foot with his head. I wouldn’t be surprised.

you know for some reason, what was written on the police car in the Transformers movie
“To punish and enslave” comes to mind,

The guy had his hands out then on the back of his head when he laid down at that point there is no reason for that type of behavior no matter what he did, and the insueing beating that came after was uncalled for as well.

I had a cop break my nose when I ran from them. All I had was a half oz of weed and I was just trying to ditch the evidence, so I ran… I wasn’t endangering anyone, and I wasn’t hurting anyone. But this guy grab me by the back of my head and rammed my nose into the pavement while I laid detained on the ground, and not resisting.

Check this website out, I just found it yesterday, good stuff!
