I am the producer of The NORML Network, the host of the NORML SHOW LIVE and The NORML Stash Blog, and NORML's Outreach Coordinator. I'm married, live in Portland, Oregon, and I am a registered medical marijuana caregiver in this state. I've worked days as an IT geek and nights as a professional musician. Previously, I have been the host of my own political talk radio show on satellite radio. I've been the High Times "Freedom Fighter of the Month" and I travel across the country to educate people on marijuana reform. I've dedicated my life to bringing an end to adult marijuana prohibition and re-legalizing cannabis hemp, and I'm honored to be chosen by NORML to give voice to the Marijuana Nation and to speak for those who can't speak up.

In my experience, the policie don’t even bother with stopping people from toking out in public. Walk through Wenseclas Square any weekend night and waiters and store clerks and others will step out for a ‘light.’ What a great country! Czechs understand what personal freedom is…Americans are losing theirs and don’t even realize it.

More importantly, the law decriminalizes the GROWING of up to three cannabis plants by making it a misdemeanor punishable with a fine of up to 20,000 CZK (about $1000).

The growing of more than three plants is punishable with up to six months in prison (the lowest possible prison term in the law). Higher penalties are foreseen for growing in “higher extent”. This, depending on case law, will hopefully mean that no one will end up in prison for growing their own weed anymore.
