(Los Angeles Times) During one of the raids, officers shot a dog believed to be a pit bull, but the circumstances of the shooting remain unclear, a law enforcement spokesman said.
The Drug Enforcement Administration, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Internal Revenue Service, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Los Angeles Police Department, Torrance Police Department and Culver City Police Department took part in the raids.
Law enforcement agencies have been cracking down on pot dispensaries for some time, but officials did not immediately say what prompted these raids.

I love how the police chief is conducting an internal investigation. That’s like the bank robber being allowed to go back and investigate the bank and tell you what happened. “I went back and investigated the scene and found that I did not rob the bank. I deeply regret the money the bank lost that day, and the investigation where it went is ongoing.”
Cops are stupid and violent. They don’t appear to be able to use abstract thought. They are very misogynistic. They don’t really have any concern for public safety. When a bad event occurs, they refuse to investigate or acknowledge their failures. They act like a band of sanctified psychopaths because we allow them to.
We get the law enforcement we deserve.

Why is it “… did not immediately say what prompted these raids” … and then we never hear what happens? This is the kind of battleground we are dealing with in this failed ‘War on Drugs’.
