I am the producer of The NORML Network, the host of the NORML SHOW LIVE and The NORML Stash Blog, and NORML's Outreach Coordinator. I'm married, live in Portland, Oregon, and I am a registered medical marijuana caregiver in this state. I've worked days as an IT geek and nights as a professional musician. Previously, I have been the host of my own political talk radio show on satellite radio. I've been the High Times "Freedom Fighter of the Month" and I travel across the country to educate people on marijuana reform. I've dedicated my life to bringing an end to adult marijuana prohibition and re-legalizing cannabis hemp, and I'm honored to be chosen by NORML to give voice to the Marijuana Nation and to speak for those who can't speak up.

Just wanted to chime in here. I’m a dispensary owner in California and have alot of friends who’ve opened up in the newer states. Alot of people are trying to get into the business and not knowing where to start. I too would like to see medical cannabis widely accessible have a free newsletter with free tips and tricks on how to get one open. The more we flex our rights, the more the feds will legalize access. Its a fun business also. It just shouldn’t be made so damned hard to get into. My free newsletter for any that are interested is at Start A Dispensary.

I read the LA Weekly story, and had to go to this new KFC. LOVE IT !! It’s only a mile from my house and I use to buy chicken there. Now I buy my meds there. Yes, I do have my “recommendation” And YES I really have a need for it (major back & leg pain). They tossed in a little humor to their location. (It’s not at all like those other blacked out window, seedy, scary places). It’s an old 70′s Kentucky Fried Chicken in the waiting area, but inside the med room, nothing like a KFC. Ok, they did say the metal on the walls was reused from the old fry hoods. Mark this place a GREAT !

LOVE IT, that probably put a couple people back to work, thats great news. If medical marijuana can help the sick, help the jobless, and help the state generate money in these hard times, it would be an even wiser move to legalize marijuana for adults 21 and over and create a huge new industry full of job opportunities, and make it easier for sick people to access their medicine while pumping billions on new tax money into the state. What are we waiting for? How will the City of LA once again SCREW UP something that could give Los Angeles a nice boot of $$$ and jobs. Tic tic tic

Legalize for responsible adults 21 and over! How hard can that be?
    Its a WIN WIN!
