When he spoke about decrim. he was not even thinking about running for president. He is doing a classic move to the center. The right has already attacked him for having a sane position on MMJ raids in CA, I could only imagine the backlash for a full decrim. stance. I believe there is a possiblity that if he gets elected and Barney Franks bill is active in the house, then maybe there would be an endorsement or maybe even policy changes by Obama.
