Happy Memorial Day
Monday, May 26th, 2008 at 8:11 am | By: Radical Russ
On this day we remember the veterans who gave their lives in service to their country, to secure and protect the rights we hold so dear – especially those rights of free speech, peaceful assembly, and petitioning our government for a redress of grievances.
Let us also remember the millions of citizens who have been needlessly fined, arrested, and incarcerated for their personal use of a benign herb. If they want to call it a “War on Drugs”, then these people are the POWs we’ll never forget.
The Stash will be a little light this week. No new podcast for today, as I am flying from Portland, Oregon, to Helena, Montana for a week’s worth of consultation by my alter-ego, Corporate Trainer Man! (Anyone in the Helena area? Send me an email at stash ‘at’ norml.org – let’s hook up!)
So for the next four days, I’ll be updating you on the news headlines and replaying the best of our interviews from the past four months. I’ll give you the best reefer madness debunking from Dr. Mitch Earleywine, and for some entertainment, Tommy Chong, Doug Benson, Craig Shoemaker, and Rob Cantrell.
