A new study is out that shows hemp seed pills, a staple in Chinese herbal medicine stores, relieves suffering of constipation known in traditional Chinese medicine as “excessive syndrome”, where the bowels dry out and cause problems such as dry mouth, abdominal swelling and pain that leads to trouble sleeping. The study done at the Hong Kong Baptist University looked into the hemp seed pills that have been used to treat constipation for more than 1,000 years in traditional Chinese medicine.

I have been eating hemp seed for the last few months and it definitely works for me.
I always make hemp seed smoothies and they seem to combat dry-mouth very well :)
I truly have always wondered if when we as Humans stopped using Hemp and Cannabis because prior we had been using it as food and medicine and everything, if that has lead to this outbreak in sickness, cancer and all the new syndromes? When they outlawed cannabis in the 30s it would make sense to me that after a generation without cannabis use and their off spring could have more illness than the generations prior to outlawing it. I really wonder if prohibition of cannabis has caused all this mess medically that we are in, all the tumors and cancers, Im glad I partake every day, just maybe Ill live till Im 200.
