I am the producer of The NORML Network, the host of the NORML SHOW LIVE and The NORML Stash Blog, and NORML's Outreach Coordinator. I'm married, live in Portland, Oregon, and I am a registered medical marijuana caregiver in this state. I've worked days as an IT geek and nights as a professional musician. Previously, I have been the host of my own political talk radio show on satellite radio. I've been the High Times "Freedom Fighter of the Month" and I travel across the country to educate people on marijuana reform. I've dedicated my life to bringing an end to adult marijuana prohibition and re-legalizing cannabis hemp, and I'm honored to be chosen by NORML to give voice to the Marijuana Nation and to speak for those who can't speak up.

roger, enjoy all that formaldehyde formed in your brain by that precious super healthy alcohol you speak of.
meanwhile i’m going to enjoy a nice healthy non toxic joint, cheers!

who’s going to die first? the one who with a very harmful toxic chemical in there brain that would kill you if normally consumed?

or the one with a chemical that is found in the brain already?

the government tells you that alcohol is more safe, but common sense should tell you that its cannabis.stay above the influence! http://zhost.tk/u/ae/stay_above_the_influence.png

Your response to this issue is exactly what is wrong with this country, and I’m tired of putting up with it from uneducated know it all idiots like yourself. You knew one person that smoked a joint and fell to the ground, perhaps forgetting to mention they maybe were drinking, or doing crystal meth before hitting the joint? If you are going to post here, then I expect you to maintain some basic understanding that we have science to render your “argument” mute. End of debate. I know you’ve been raised on that reefer madness crap for God knows how long, but you should understand our side has scientifically handed your ass back to you. Though I’ve said all of this, I’m sure you’ll find yourself comforted by the knowledge that you’ll be one of many jack-offs out there to be more than happy to pay taxes into the billions to round up us “dangerous” cannabis users and put us all in prisons just like Nazis did to the Jews. A round of really lame golf claps to you Mr. Oriely. :readit:

First I wont reply to ignorance, second I would be preaching to the choir if I even told you how wrong you are Roger.

And third, OMG they have been discriminating against 1 of 10 people taking a pee tests? ANd then just grabbing 25 out of 1000 and just saying they were positive too? Are they playing GOD? because they could be handing down a death sentence like Russ said someone on parole and has to go back now for his full term and he is 80? Or the fact that people lost their jobs over this and then Homes and families, geez I just dont get why the media isnt ripping into this, this is a huge deal and shows that this may be going on everywhere too. Until they test of impairment vs past use we will never get a fair shake with these tests.

These people that profit off this testing should be strung up, when you think that millions have been tested and out of even just 10 million citizens that would be 1 million that got the hammer and lost jobs and homes families and respect of the community, all due to these tests that dont do anything but target cannabis consumers when every other drug is far more harmful and can cause a much higher risk for employers.

I grew up and had my jobs prior to the wave of drug testing, in fact I was only asked to do it once and I told them I wouldnt, they hired me anyhow. But I never thought that these tests would be so manipulated to bring harm on people. I never imagined that Americans would have let this testing get to this point. The thought back then and how we felt about America, no way would the public stand for this. But here we are and I no longer am involved in the job market but is see quite clear that citizens rolled over on this one. Are we too lazy, sure, are we too stupid, well that could be said, but more so we are too easily scared. When the Man says you could be harmed by some “druggie” at work then people think that these tests have their best interests at heart and thats it, we are push overs!

If there was ever a time to hit back at these tests its now, we should go all out to open a can of worms about this 10% and 2.5% lies. We have every right to gain some freedoms back in this “land of the free” as the use to say anyhow.

Imgoing to assume that the test that the lab workers altered showed some kind of metabolite, but why would somone want to fail a person for a drug test if they passed? This makes no sense, hurt fellow human beings for no apparent reason. :-(
