I often get bud like this that is nice, very dense, and burns with a nice medium-dark gray ash in bongs, and rolled a nice light gray in the middle but black on the outside. The person who grows it grows natural organic and has grown longer than I have been alive.... he has helped write the books. As in, if it's not quite dry enough, it makes black ash and won't stay lit. So, if your cannabis is dry and still makes black ash, that's bad.
