A Salina man who helped deliver a Christmas gift of marijuana to an inmate in the Saline County Jail on Christmas Day of 2007 was sentenced Monday to two years and eight months in prison for trafficking in contraband in a correctional institution.Issac P. Slay Jr., 47, and Victoria Henry, 38, were identified on surveillance video as the people who threw a small package of marijuana over a fence and into a loading area at the jail. Henry is scheduled for sentencing at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 15.
Not exactly the smoothest way to smuggle pot into a jail, is it? Who could’ve imagined there would be cameras pointed at the fences around a jail?
