Gun control laws and prohibition have been ineffective at stemming the violence and bloodshed. I would be happy to have the NRA and Gun Owners of America on our side in the fight for legalization. Most of these right-wingers are none to happy with the prospect of getting pulled over and searched on a pretext of drug searches. The pro-gun conservatives say they want limited government. Ending prohibition would stem the government onslaught of our civil liberties while ripping the rug of huge profits out from under the gansters and cartels.

I volunteered with the Ron Paul Camaign, stoners, hippies, anarchists, working hand in hand with John Birch Society and NRA members. No wonder people thought we were all crazy, but we had a lot more in common than most people would think.

Here's something surprising I learned today.

"The U.S. Defence Department estimates Mexico's two most deadly drug cartels have a combined strength of more than 100,000 foot soldiers. That puts them on a par with Mexico's army of about 130,000."

The cartels are a big deal.

6,290 people were murdered by the cartels last year. In the first eight weeks of this year more than 1,000 people have been killed by them.

Until the prohibition is ended these deaths will continue. Have you contacted your legislators today?

-- That's my new campaign. You may see it around.

Maybe Ted Nugent will get off our backs now. Then I can start listening to his music again, but I doubt it.
