Legislation that seeks to regulate the adult use, production, and sale of marijuana to adults will be reintroduced in the Massachusetts House imminently. Separate legislation to allow for the physician supervised use of medical marijuana is also expected to be reintroduced in both chambers later this legislative session. At this time, all three bills have been filed and have been assigned docket numbers. These measures will be assigned formal bill numbers and referred to the appropriate legislative committees for future hearings shortly. In the meantime, you can read further details about these efforts and how to support them by visiting MassCann, the Massachusetts affiliate of NORML, here.
