McLaughlin Group debates legalization of Rhode Island compassion centers

Bonus points for the PBS show using the CNN footage of our sponsor, The Hemp & Cannabis Foundation, and their medical marijuana garden and clinic building.  I must say that the gardener in the clip seems most tender.

I am the producer of The NORML Network, the host of the NORML SHOW LIVE and The NORML Stash Blog, and NORML's Outreach Coordinator. I'm married, live in Portland, Oregon, and I am a registered medical marijuana caregiver in this state. I've worked days as an IT geek and nights as a professional musician. Previously, I have been the host of my own political talk radio show on satellite radio. I've been the High Times "Freedom Fighter of the Month" and I travel across the country to educate people on marijuana reform. I've dedicated my life to bringing an end to adult marijuana prohibition and re-legalizing cannabis hemp, and I'm honored to be chosen by NORML to give voice to the Marijuana Nation and to speak for those who can't speak up.

Wow I feel like I am watching a sci-fi show like a mirror reality or something when I watch this! These are old non smoking farts saying Prohibition is stupid and our drug policy isnt working, WOW what Kool Aid have they had?

I love the statement that Tobacco is getting pushed back and marijuana is getting pushed forward. Dont think anything should be prohibited since the government should tell people what they can and cant put into there bodies. However if they would base it on harm done to our bodies well then tobacco should be first to go.

    this is “anecdata”

Still, if you were to judge by this clip, you would have to say that the elite is very much in favor of MMJ.

It’s not Right vs. Left. It’s Masses vs. Elite. The masses are asses.

weird clip, most of what they said was misguided, but at least 4 of the 5 seemed to favor “decriminalization”, so that is good….. right?

damn. Only one dissenting opinion on legalizing marijuana on a show with, well, an older demographic. I’d say this is a very good thing.
