I'm the guy that this happened to and let me say that I am not stretching the truth. This really happened to me. I wasn't bear baiting LOL. I was on my way home and where I live thats is just cause to get pulled over if you are a young male. Its a small town and the local law enforcement gets really bored. You should see our jail docket its ridiculous. 10 out of 15 are marijuana offenders every single time. Mostly people I went to school with. They set up road blocks every 2 or three days at all the entrances to my city. Needless to say they catch alot of drug offenders. I understand we do have a bit of a meth epidemic here in MS but they need to lay off on the pot. I have bounced back after this tragedy. I get my license back next week...I still use marijuana daily, but I do not get anywhere near a vehicle with it anymore. Hey guys. Why did he get stopped? Did the cop have probable cause? Did he give the cop permission to search? Was he smoking in the car, ergo the car smelled of pot? Too many unanswered questions to give much sympathy to the ignorant. Kids, re-watch "Busted" on YouTube and learn about your rights when you get "stopped" or "detained" or "get that knock on the door". Don't play with fire without proper training.
