Muchas gracias to “Winder” and all the El Jefe pledgers!

I faced off against De (@OregonGoodness), but she bested me, 27 wings to 25.

Just received the $420 pledge from Winder in my PayPal – thank you so much!  So far, you Stashers have contributed $1,153.20 directly to NORML SHOW LIVE through that El Jefe Donations Button (many more have donated through the Tip Jar and NORML Secure Server, but I don’t have access to the financial records in those accounts.)

So far, your donations have paid for:

• Soundproofing and improvements to the NORML SHOW LIVE studio
• Licensing of feed generation software for NSL and Stash podcasting
• A POTS (plain old telephone service) line amplifier for audio feed from studio to BlogTalkRadio
• Purchase of radio automation software
• A professional microphone for my co-host, Cannabis Karri (long-time Stashers will remember her as the Daily Toker Tunes DJ before Tam from Marijuana Music Awards took over)

But the bulk of these donations will go toward purchase of a multimedia-capable laptop to be used as the NORML SHOW LIVE Remote Studio.  My wife has issued a moratorium on my borrowing of her laptop while she is back in nursing school!

The generosity of our community never ceases to amaze me.  It blows my mind that so many total strangers would pay to see me leak fluid from my face while I scarf down nuclear waste disguised as chicken wings simply because I can’t stop talking to the world about legalizing pot.  Thank you, merci, gracias, domo arigato!
