Good day, Stashers! From my corner of the world comes today’s artist, CORI B and her musical hit, “Ganja Salute”. Cori B calls NoPo home (That is North Portland, Oregon) and she has been performing in and around the Portland area for more than 10 years as a member of a few popular Portland bands. Cori B (who is really Cori Bethune) has a very centered philosophy based on spreading a message of diversity and acceptance among humankind. On today’s track, Cori steps out solo and center with some help on the mixing and backup vocals by Matt Riffy. A sweet bass line, some killer lyrics and little reggae round out “Ganja Salute”. I would march next to Cori B any day! Why don’t you join the cannabis army too? You can visit Cori B’s myspace page at myspace.com/lumarijah for more information. Lumarijah is a concept from Cori and it comes from the words “luminosity” “marijuana” “I” and “Jah”. It has many facets that range from the healing arts to music to spiritualism to politics.
