For a change from hearing the music entries of the 2009 Marijuana Music Awards, we’ll listen to poetry, ‘Agent X’ by Hydropods, entered in both the 2009 Global MMA and 2009 American MMA Best Poetry categories.
Hydropods are Gary Glover and John Dooley who perform, as they put it, “Spoken words with music played”. The sound of a Hydropods piece is enlightening. Completely without pretense, Hydropods succeed, as they say, “because sometimes simple life is much more entertaining than stretching and twisting reality”
John Dooley is an award winning poet and freelance journalist living in Oregon. His written work has appeared in publications around the world. Gary Glove is a multi-instrument musician with over thirty years of playing/recording experience. He continues to work as a professional studio musician, producer and engineer.
