It’s a rap Friday brings us both great rap music and a reminder that today’s the last day to enter the 2009 Global Marijuana Music Awards!
Today’s song during Maryjane Music week is a fan favorite by ill e. gal, ‘Mary Jane’!
Strong, independent and lyrically proficient, ill e. gal’s time is now. Recently featured in High Times Magazine, ill e. gal is currently working on her first solo album “The Grass Is Always Greener” due out later this year.
Apart from her solo career, ill e. gal teamed up with Miss Tress to form T.H.C (True High Class) who won the Twin Cities Music Award for the ‘First Ladies of Hip Hop’ two years in a row. The dynamic duo performed numerous live gigs across the country including the 2007 American Marijuana Music Awards in Brooklyn.
ill e. gal stays true to her beliefs and conveys a clear message with her music. She fights strongly in support of legalizing marijuana, which is such a positive force in her life that she will do all she can to reach the millions of people who feel the same way.
ill e. gal’s lyrics come from the heart and she is not afraid to say it like it is. She is here to help change many lives, her message is about more than hip hop and music, it is about life.
