Music: It’s a Rap Friday – ‘Skunk Butta’ by Tha Funxsouljaz

Skunk Butta by Tha FunxsouljazIt’s a Rap on Friday and today’s classic stoner song is from Tha Funxsouljaz, ‘Skunk Butta’, nominated in 2008 Marijuana Music Awards.

Tha Funxsouljaz formed at the beginning of the rap era and had a hugely successful life for 10 years. The group includes Stash favorite, DJ Ignite of The Blaxicans.

Tha Funxsouljaz have fans around world including Japan, Australia and Dj Ignite’s home, Mexico.

The group have been featured on over 30 CDs and in Magazines. They plan to re-release a couple of their classic CDs including today’s song “Skunk Butta” which features Baby Bash and N2Deep.

Tha Funxsouljaz are soon to release an exit album. All members of the group have remained close friends and all have pursued successful solo projects. DJ Ignite’s son, Tone-E, is continuing the music into the next generation, Tha Funxsouljaz lives on!
