Starting today, Monday’s ‘music with a message’ features songs from all genres with a strong marijuana message spoken in every style. ‘Let a Thug Smoke’ is the strong message from the dynamic group, THE INDIVIDUALS, fantastic gangster rappers straight from Chicago.
THE INDIVIDUALS are Ando Tha Don, Big Lou, Raw Bizness and T.C.O. The name of the group reflects the individuality the artists represent with their unique styles and original flows. Originality is the key to the great music that THE INDIVIDUALS produce with their “be you” attitude.
All time record holders of Marijuana Music Awards wins, THE INDIVIDUALS from 2005 to 2008, have collected 11 Global and American Marijuana Music Awards Trophies!
The group have been a rolling stone in gaining success and popularity, with today’s song, ‘Let a Thug Smoke’ being used in the ‘Weeds’ TV series. THE INDIVIDUALS’ relationship with the popular TV show grew and they recorded the TV show’s theme song ‘Little Boxes’ for the 3rd season of ‘Weeds’.
THE INDIVIDUALS continue to impress by recently making the High Times Pot 40 and they’re currently nominees in 2009 High Times Doobie Awards.
The group are dedicated activists of the marijuana movement, having made dynamic appearances at all the popular Hemp events including Seattle HempFest, Ohio Hemp fest, American Marijuana Music Awards, Chicago Hemp Fest and many more.
THE INDIVIDUALS have appeared on most marijuana radio shows and have been featured in all the popular international marijuana magazines including High Times, Red Eye magazine, Heads, Weed World and on the front cover of Treating Yourself Magazine.
THE INDIVIDUALS had international success with their first CD “SOMETHING TO SMOKE TO” which was met with great reviews. Events got even more exciting when THE INDIVIDUALS released their hot sophomore CD “SOMETHING TO SMOKE TO 2”, the sequel to the colorful “SOMETHING TO SMOKE TO”. The group are currently working on a DVD titled ‘November 420-08 “The Day a Black Man was elected President Thru the Eyes of Chicago’s own Hip Hop Marijuana Activists, THE INDIVIDUALS”. The DVD will soon be released.
