Today for our musical break we get some campy, fun Euro-Pop with the MONKEEMAN and their hit, “Get High”. The band comes from Berlin, Germany, but the British influence is apparent beyond them singing in English. This is pop music just as it should be, easy to digest, fun to listen to and the right beat to bounce your head back and forth. Like many artists today in our media and market-driven world, the Monkeeman found new fans and recognition when Ebay used one of their tracks, “Life Is Wonderful” for their TV ads.
