Welcome to a new week, and a bluesy blue Monday, Stashers! Today we get some old-timey uplifting blues with the PHANTOM BLUES BAND and their song, “I’m Looking For A Miracle”. It feels like laying down at the blues alter and praying for redemption. The Phantom Blues Band first came together as a studio band to back Taj Mahal on his studio CD, “Dancin’ the Blues” released in 1993. The association with Taj Mahal produced more recordings including some Grammy winners for this seven-piece Texas blues band. They have played major blues and jazz festivals in Europe, Japan and Australia and released their first CD “Limited Edition” in 2003. As part of the Texas Blues Community, the Phantom Blues Band has backed and recorded with blues greats Stevie Ray Vaughn, B.B. King, Jimmy Reed, Buddy Guy and Otis Rush. The band continues to work on their own and occasionally does special shows with Taj Mahal. Some people say that getting cannabis legalized would take a miracle, well we are looking for a miracle and as a community we are making it happen! You can visit the bands website, phantombluesband.com for more great blues music.
