We have a treat for you Stashers with the Toker Tune from MMA this Reggae Wednesday. We’re playing the fantastic and famous Collie Buddz, with his hit song “Come Around”.
Born in New Orleans, raised on the Isle of Bermuda, Collie Buddz is hard to identify geographically. His music however, has one of the most firmly grounded voices you may ever encounter. Incorporating influences from hip-hop to soca, Collie’s music has a rock-solid foundation in reggae, with the power to connect ghetto reality with the heights of human aspiration, that is a rarity even in Jamaica. As Collie says, “he loves the positive vibes of reggae music”.
Collie has been immersed in the music culture of Bermuda since he was 6 years old. Consistent encouragement led Collie to his own Bermudian studio and to being signed with major record label, Sony Music.
Collie Buddz had a huge hit with today’s song ‘Come Around’, which won 2007 Global Marijuana Music Awards Song of Year!
Collie Buddz success continues, he was recently nominated for an EME award. The Excellence in Music and Entertainment Awards has nominated Collie Buddz for Top International Artist of The Year, along with Stephen Marley and Sean Paul.
You can grab Collie Buddz debut album, self titled, on sale now at most music outlets including iTunes, Sony Music Store, Napster and Amazon.com

Thanks Brian. Or Brain.
Now where do you work where you can play Stash tunes?
Thanks RR.
I play stash songs at work.
I love the looks I get.
I understand the artists want me to see there site. Let me tell you, If I like a song enough to download it and put in on my phone, I am most likely to visit the artists site.
BTW. You have a perfect radio voice and manner.
Very professional.
Happy 4/20
Brian.
Sorry, it’s up to the artist. Many of them want you to surf to their place so they can make some dough. They are, after all, donating their time and talent for us to play their tunes on the Stash in the first place.
That said, I think artists would be wise to let their tune go free on the Stash. It ends up in someone’s iPod or mix CD, someone else hears it in a car or at a party, asks “Who’s that?”, and the next thing you know you’ve got a dozen more people who know your song and name.
How come we can’t download songs any more. Or why are the artists so cheep that they cant let one song featured on the NORML audio stash be down loaded for registered slashers !
Common I like some of these songs.
