This week we’ve heard from international artists, and today is no exception. Reggae Wednesday brings us ‘Jah Rastafarian’ by Mamasita from Italy.
Mamasita’s style is elegant, original and passionately energetic music. They mix reggae with ska, rumba, salsa, blues and rock, to create successful Italian pop music.
Following the popularity of the band’s first hit single, Mamasita released a CD which was published internationally and appeared on radio and TV. Mamasita have performed at many concerts and an MTV event.
The band recently released a new single which is being used for a TV advertisement. They are preparing for their 2nd CD’s release in Winter 2009.
