Music: Reggae Wednesday – ‘Piece of Ganja’ by Iriepathie

Continuing the international theme this week, today’s Reggae Wednesday song, ‘Piece of Ganja’ is by Austrian band, Iriepathie.
Known as ‘Austria’s Most High’, Iriepathie are two brothers, Syrix and Professa. Popular internationally, Iriepathie have performed at concerts and festivals in both Austria and Jamaica.
The duo have released 4 CDs as Iriepathie and have set up their own record company, Irievibrations Records.
Their music is a diverse mix of harmonic Jamaican rhythms and slower roots to stomping dancehall beats.
The duo have worked with the most famous artists of the Caribbean, like Morgan Heritage. Their philosophy is to support Austrian and European reggae artists, so they are always included on the flipside of singles that Irievibrations Records make with the top Jamaican stars.
In the future, Irievibrations aim to continue to raise their presence in the international reggae community and spread their message of freedom, love and peace, worldwide.
