For Reggae Wednesday we’re listening to ‘Roll up that Spliff’ by 2008 Global MMA Reggae winners, Jah Roots.
Recently, after 8 years of being a hugely successful group, Jah Roots decided to take an ‘indefinite hiatus’ to pursue their solo projects.
This month former lead singer, Josh Heinrichs, has released a solo album called “Things Change”.
Jah Roots had great success as a band, achieving a number of chart topping hits, several CDs and a local and international following.
The band worked with many reggae greats including Junior Marvin, Damian Marley, Bunny Wailer, George Clinton and Stephen Marley.
