I am the producer of The NORML Network, the host of the NORML SHOW LIVE and The NORML Stash Blog, and NORML's Outreach Coordinator. I'm married, live in Portland, Oregon, and I am a registered medical marijuana caregiver in this state. I've worked days as an IT geek and nights as a professional musician. Previously, I have been the host of my own political talk radio show on satellite radio. I've been the High Times "Freedom Fighter of the Month" and I travel across the country to educate people on marijuana reform. I've dedicated my life to bringing an end to adult marijuana prohibition and re-legalizing cannabis hemp, and I'm honored to be chosen by NORML to give voice to the Marijuana Nation and to speak for those who can't speak up.

In Pa we have Pennsylvania House Bill 1393, also known as the Compassionate Use Medical Marijuana Act. Senate hearings were conducted on December 2, 2009. Governor Rendell has indicated that if a well crafted bill is placed on his desk he WILL sign it. The news from New Jersey will give the movement in Pa a strong boost and I predict that New York will then come along also. In fact, I predict that one by one we will see state after state going in the same direction until medical cannabis is available in all 50 states. I fully support it. Now, we have to allow the farmers to grow industrial hemp too.

Those bastards sure took it right down to the wire didn’t they? I was expecting to see the senate didn’t act on it and see MMJ slip away in like it did here in NY. It’s a step in the right direction. When oh when will New York catch the drift? So did Gov. Corzine sign it yet? When will it be enacted?
