I am the host of the NORML SHOW LIVE and The NORML Stash Blog. I'm married, live in Portland, Oregon, and I am a registered medical marijuana caregiver in this state. I've worked days as an IT geek and nights as a professional musician. Previously, I have been the host of my own political talk radio show on satellite radio. I've been the High Times "Freedom Fighter of the Month" for my work producing Oregon NORML's TV show, "A Cannabis Community Forum", and for helping to institute Portland's wildly successful medical marijuana cardholders meetings, where we help sick and disabled Oregonians acquire cannabis plant starts, learn gardening, and understand the medical marijuana law. I've dedicated my life to bringing an end to adult marijuana prohibition and re-legalizing cannabis hemp, and I'm honored to be chosen by NORML to be our daily voice.

I forgot to mention, stems and seeds all have THC, and this process turns all, to a moderate powder, when rubbed between your fingers. It is great for making Hash, use it like seasoning on food, it grinds up to smaller than pepper.. :-P

Why does everyone say they are vaporizing the herb? They are burning the herb. I have learned a way to vaporize herb, not burning it, but doing it like they condense orange juice. apply a specific temperature, and use a vacuum pump. I turn my vaporizer to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. Pack the glass tube on the whip, with herb, I use a wooden dowel to pack it, but not to tight, so the vacuum pump can pull air through it. I keep the herb back from the heater stem, about 1/2 to 3/4 inch to prevent the herb from igniting. I run the vacuum until the glass on the whip, gets to around 112 degrees Fahrenheit, hot enough to make it uncomfortable to hold the glass on the whip, with your bare hands. This will dry the herb, but condense it, and it gains almost twice the potency. I was a refrigeration tech for 38 years, I worked on Sunkist condensed orange juice equipment in the past.

Air is 78.08 % Nitrogen. Don’t really think Nirtogen will bother you much.

    Vape away.

  5. Just Legalize It

This is great to hear. I had always “heard” that Vaping was better for you but was wondering how much THC was being ingested compared to smoking. Now I know.

I did hear a rumor which I am skeptical about. It was that Vaping releases a higher content of nitrogen than smoking. The person spreading this rumor also tried to convince me that excessive nitrogen is bad for you. In the amounts that we are talking I feel that there is no risk. I cannot find any data. Does anyone have any more definitive information?
