MrSpof hails from the Gulag Commonwealth of Virginia where he has been burning the sweet leaf for 28 years (and counting). The utter hypocrisy, injustice, and lies from our government about cannabis are the fuel firing my passion and NORML's kind hosting of my news posts and rants gives me an outlet for that passion. If you're reading this, you CAN make a difference. Donate to the acronym of your choice (NORML, MPP, DPA, etc), come out of the cannabis closet as much as you can, and make YOUR voice heard!

We cannot let up for 1 min.I a 49 and I have seen to many a promise forgot about. If we do not keep the heat on 24-7-365 we will put on the back burner! 8-)

WE have had 70 years of slack. So if he doesn’t do it he may NOT be elected next time.

He easily could have said He did not want to tackle the issue at the moment but maybe charges to Cannabis laws could happen in the future.

I would have to totally disagree with Norm on this issue. Sometimes I think that is the problem with the marijuana movement…Instead of getting mad and demanding change, we get mad….then smoke a bowl and chill out. We need to stay on his ass like flies on sh*t!!

You never heard Martin Luther King Jr. say “Oh lets give them a break, they have more important things to tend right now.” Of course not.

This war is costing American lives and money. To me there should be nothing higher on the priority list.

No we should not cut him any slack.

Time is short enough as it is. Are we to just stick our heads back in the sand and wait for the next election to Maybe petition the next guy?

Nonsense! He either will change the laws or we will vote him out and try again with the next guy.

No more dancing between the raindrops. It’s time for the debates and conversations on the front burner. It’s time for action to be taken. If he want’s all our votes next time then he better execute that executive order in the next couple years.

Obama was elected, in large by smokers, seeking that promised change. Obama also, himself, dedicated to tackling numerous problems at once. Attempting to show the world America could multitask it’s way back into the the Green. Dont make an excuse, nor ask someone to cut our leader who signed on pushing this change and claiming to handle multiple problems at once, some slack. remember this is what He wanted originally, now were behind him pushing for change and they call for slack to Obama because they bont like what were saying?
No Mr. Obama you get no slack. We elected you based upon your loud speaking of change and reform. We elected you, We want it, and we are committed to seeing it through. Every day we work toward this reform, ignored, made a joke of, and lied about to the masses. We will no longer tolerate the level of ignorance the U.S. Government assumes we have.
Remember the Nintendo Generation? “We demand free access to data!” Well we have access and we use it to its fullest! We did not go away we have been here waiting in the ranks for just this moment. You Sir Mr. Obama will not take our moment from us.
I Call to all who support this cause to double your efforts. Are you sending an email a day? Send two! Email Obama, your State government, your Federal Representatives! Let them know We will not cut them slack. They are in Office based on an agenda, we clearly elected Obama to carry out, We clearly support, and We will no longer tolerate being ignored nor the blunt of an uneducated mans joke. Dont forget to share all your favorite marijuana related links with your friends on your networking pages and any forums you may post in.
Public awareness is up, public support is up, now we just need some public action! Get your friends involved today! and change what matters most.
note: I wonder how Obama feels having been thanked by Mexico’s top dog Drug lord, for his efforts in keeping cartel money flowing.

The problem here is if we dont act now how many more presidents will we have to wait for to act,How many more years?
The problems he is currently facing are big problems but he knew whut he was getting into.
I voted for him And allmost all my friends voted for him as well for his views on marijuana.
Not Only am I disapointed by his snub on marijuana, I see no Dismantling of the decades-old, massively bureaucratized and financed drug war machine.

    So Whut should we do?
    Remain mute?
I have a idea,Obama cut us some slack.
