Funny you should ask! Check out “A Different View”, live 8pm Pacific every Monday. Three women activists interview guests and discuss marijuana law reform. Shows include a segment with the NORML Women’s Alliance. It’s free for download and replay through http://ADifferentView.us, http://live.norml.org, and the podcast feed is http://norml.org/rss/ADifferentView.xml
Would just like to say I am just now advocating for what I believe in with Cannabis. I do want to say I greatly enjoy the podcast!!! Would like to see more shows audio/video from norml and other constituents available on line. For example a women’s norml podcast would be awesome. Keep up the awesome work!
Yes, I’ll do that & I’ve been thinking of $25 to your needs …if I had your computer & writing skills with your connections from travelling the country,I’d start a fund raising company for various Cannabis/Hemp movement causes-I’ll do my best on that since distance in personal locus is all relative in cyberspace.
1. Silver Tour,
2. OCTA 2012,
3 Regulate Cannabis Like Wine Cali/Colo..
We have so many needs and not since Marc Emery at his zenith as a seed entrepreneur have we had a clearinghouse for funding our movement. My plans to come to Washington 10 months ago were thwarted, yet 2012 is OUR year to crack the egg of prohibition insanity.
I had the gall to ask is because support was promised as we heard Keith on Time 4 Hemp (a show that has me on often from Cambodia);meanwhile, us talking to Bobby on FB has not seen any/much support. I want more support for your show which is the best thing NORML does. I’d like Karri to get a stipend with something for Jon & Kaliko etc…yet we can’t get the money to the real needs–Marc Emery was excellent at that & nobody can ever take the largesse from him (ironic this altruism is antithetical to his belief in Randian philosophy),yet with MPP fail & NORML still mainly running lawyer seminars…let’s not go there. I’ll send what I can to NORML-both you & Silver Tour.
If anyone thinks NORML should be donating more money to The Silver Tour, then anyone can make a monetary donation to NORML at http://norml.org/join-norml and put “For The Silver Tour” in the notes.
Because I’m fairly certain that someone wouldn’t have the gall to tell us how to spend NORML donor money if they weren’t donors to NORML, right?
Thanks again for having me on the show, Russ.
And thanks for the kind words, Ray. I still proudly carry my card from The Hawai’i Cannabis Ministry!
I heard Keith Stroup on Time 4 Hemp & he said he’s getting funding to the Black Tuna for the “Silver Tour”…this very important outreach should be expanded throughout the SE areas of the US. As of a few days ago Bobby has received nothing from NORML–this from our correspondence on FB.
What gives on this ???? This is in NORML’s best interest & I’m not bashing here. Please ask Allen & Keith on this. I’m not alone in thinking that Robert Platshorn has the key stratagem for relegalization.
Ken Wolski was excellent & NJ needs the Silver Tour bigtime
