Melanie first off let me start by saying how sorry I am that this has happened to you.You must know deep down you did nothing wrong and you and your children deserve to be together.I am weeping for you right now as I try to be as supportive as I can.Please do your best to hold your head high today because it is still a day to recognize moms and you will always be a mom no matter what dhs or our government has to say. We the people do not agree with your childr4en being taken and we do not support making criminals out of everyday americans.I am sendind as much love to you as I can and hopefully you will check this site today and smile because you will get your children back even though you all must endure this horrible investigation.

I had all four of my children taken by DHS on the 27th of April because my newborn twins were born positive for THC. I have a medicinal card and was diagnosed with IBS in 2008. My Dr told me not to do anything that will make me more sick, and everyone knew of my medication but didn’t say anything about DHS taking my children. My newborn twins and one-year-old son who has never been away from home are all still in foster care. My five-year-old step daughter who has been messed with by the system more than we have was picked up from school and placed with grandma (I swear she’s only with family because of the different social worker, who is actually working to place her back here). My one-year-old was supposed to be given to my parents “at the latest Tuesday” and now it’s next Monday.. and we aren’t allowed to even visit him now. When she first took him into protective custody he was placed with Grandma, and we were allowed to see him whenever we wanted.. an hour later she called to pick him up because she “found out she has control over Caden and the twins” and left us in the dark.. The twists and turns in this story are many, and it just proves how corrupt DHS can be.. This mothers day weekend will be very quiet and lonely, when it should be spent with my children.. but she made sure I wouldn’t be able to see even one of them.. Please e-mail me, I need more support.. I don’t really know where to turn.
