I appreciate you taking the time to share with me your thoughts on medical marijuana. The views of my fellow Iowans are an essential component of my decision making process as a Member of Congress.
I understand your thoughts on the U.S. Justice Department’s new guidelines on the federal prosecution of medical marijuana users protected by state laws. As you know, the Justice Department has announced that federal agents will not actively arrest or prosecute medical marijuana patients who are in compliance with state law. While I recognize your support for additional legislation to expand medical marijuana protections, I am not convinced that marijuana use, even for medical purposes, should be made legal. Even though we disagree on this issue, I appreciate your views on the subject and will keep them in mind should the House consider medical marijuana legislation during the 111th Congress.
The 111th Congress faces many significant challenges, and economic recovery is vital if we are to meet them. As a senior member of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, I will continue building upon the job creation opportunities that I have brought to the 3rd District in order to provide the stimulus Iowa needs. I periodically provide electronic updates on issues I think my constituents might be interested in. Lost my vote as well.
That is a great strategy let’s play fire with fire, except on our side it would playing with water to put out the fire.
He just lost my vote!
Lenny BLOWS !!!!!
You know what would be nice, to start seeing political opponents using these responses.
He doesn’t support even medical marijuana being legal. So that must mean he supports making sick American’s endure pain and suffering even when there is an option to help them.
Using common political logic methods.
Start looking for a new job, Leonard.
