I am the host of the NORML SHOW LIVE and The NORML Stash Blog. I'm married, live in Portland, Oregon, and I am a registered medical marijuana caregiver in this state. I've worked days as an IT geek and nights as a professional musician. Previously, I have been the host of my own political talk radio show on satellite radio. I've been the High Times "Freedom Fighter of the Month" for my work producing Oregon NORML's TV show, "A Cannabis Community Forum", and for helping to institute Portland's wildly successful medical marijuana cardholders meetings, where we help sick and disabled Oregonians acquire cannabis plant starts, learn gardening, and understand the medical marijuana law. I've dedicated my life to bringing an end to adult marijuana prohibition and re-legalizing cannabis hemp, and I'm honored to be chosen by NORML to be our daily voice.

Greetings,
We endorse the legalization of marijuana and its products.. I already use
several hemp products like shampoo, clothing, and believe in the medicinal
value of the plant as well.
I do want to bring up a very interesting concern, to see what insights and
o,r knowledge you may have about the use of medical marijuana and its
relationship to driving. As you know, marijuana stays (and is traceable) in the
blood system for many days, maybe even weeks, which give the DUI
authorities a tremendous catch 22. Obviously, someone that may have
smoked weed a day or two or even a week ago, will not have their driving
impaired (we do not even agree that it may impair driving at all, could make
some drive better, very personal matter..but it still classified as a DUI)
though they would test positive for DUI. Minus the exception of the police
witnessing someone smoking etc. while driving, how are they ever going
to prosecute this one, as since a good night sleep erases all the weed
affects,, yet a driver will still test positive for DUI, what do you think
is going to happen?
We are not endorsing smoking and driving and your response will not
be construed as any kind of advice or endorsement. We just want to
find out if NORML has researched this, what your findings are, and if not
we recommend you do so asap. Do you have any current information
you can send me on this?
Thanks!

She’s my kind of republican.
You betta speak it girl! That’s right, we refuse to let this government bankrupt us over marijuana.
