Rockin’ Friday: Slough Feg – “Insomnia”

Slough Feg (also known as The Lord Weird Slough Feg) is a Heavy Metal band that formed in Pennsylvania in the early 1990s and is currently based in the San Fransisco Bay area. The band released their self-titled debut album in 1996 and is currently signed to Profound Lore Records and most recently released The Animal Spirits on October 26, 2010.

The Slough Feg sound has often been compared as a fine mix of Metal and Rock masters Black Sabbath and Blue Oyster Cult. The song Insomnia, off the Hardworlder release, is a Epic, Straight forward Rock song with a touch of ” Comic bookish space pirate” sound . So when people ask you why your grinning today, tell them you took a hit and heard Slough Feg on Norml Show Live.
