It is an OPTION to obtain the card which makes it easier for local law enforcement to verify for valid patient status. An OPTION of $166.00 or for those who have Medi-Cal insurance it will cost a payment of $83.0 annually from the date of issuance. This is now law required by Sacramento county to follow state law stating that Sacramento county must provide the I.D. cards as an available option to legal Medical Cannabis patients within Sacramento county.
