Thanks for contacting me regarding marijuana. It’s nice to hear from you.
I’m against legalization of marijuana except when the appropriate authorities recommend that it be studied as a treatment for disease. As you may know, a National Institute of Health panel has made such a recommendation.
I want you to know that I am concerned about limiting any medical treatment that might be the best possible treatment for disease. I also believe that if marijuana is legalized for medicinal purposes, appropriate safeguards against abuse must be in place. You can be sure that I will pay close attention to research on the medicinal uses of marijuana.Again, thanks for contacting me. Please let me know if I can be of help to you in the future.
Sincerely,
Barbara A. Mikulski
United States Senator

I usually ask them specifically for their knee jerk reaction “To add to my Nixon and McCarthyesque collection of disgraced politician memorabilia”. No response yet but at least they know that I’m onto their bullsh!t.
@NegatroN
thats exactly what she gave was a canned F*%$ you response. I wrote to her also and fot the exact same bogus response. I am trying to find a website or list of pot friendly politicians but not having much luck. Any direction would be appreciated. Mikulski , kiss my a$$
It. whatever. i don’t think these are people we are talking too.
He?
Seems a bit more honest than the typical canned message of, “I appreciate your concerns regarding this matter and we are always interested in your input.”
Nothing says “F*** You” quite like a canned response from your elected officials…
Another aging dinosaur that needs to be directed to the tar pits.
Almost good enough, almost. it’s a start. at least he flat out said NO.
