Thank you for taking the time to contact my office about H.R. 2835, the Medical Marijuana Patient Protection Act. Your input is important to me, and I appreciate the time you took to share your thoughts.
I appreciate you bringing this situation to my attention, and I agree with you that a person should not be denied access to needed medical care for legally following their doctor’s advice. The Medical Marijuana Patient Protection Act is currently in the House of Representatives and has not been introduced in the Senate; however, I do not support the legalization of marijuana or any legislation that declassifies it as a Schedule I drug.
Thank you again for your letter. I hope you will continue to share your thoughts with me.
Sincerely,
Bob Corker
United States Senator

so he supports medical marijuana but is against any legislation that declassifies it as a schedule 1 drug?! hahahahahahhaa talk about an oxymoron
Sincerely,

What a waist of government power…
its idiots like you that keep this country from reaching its full potential, i bet your one of those who never smoked pot but want to talk shit about it!
Moving it to Schedule 3 would just be keeping with consistancy since THC (known as dronabinol) is already a Schedule 3 drug. The god-made plant can be no more malevolent than its most active ingredient. Letting Doctors prescribe Cannabis through a pharmacy to be used in conjunction with a “Vaporizer” that doesn’t release all the tars and carcinogens(since these seem to be the basis to the only argument AGAINST Medical Cannabis ) is not so different from being prescribed an inhalor.
help take it out of Sched I then we can have a discussion Bob….
Raise your hand if you want to be replaced in the Senate…What a Corker!
