Today’s Stash is our Cannabis Science day, and you’re getting a two-fer.  Dr. Earleywine is with us to talk about cannabis and depression, plus a bit on seasonal affective disorder (where ya get the blues when it’s dark too long… here in Portland, we call it the wet half of the year.)

Then Paul Armentano joins us to break down that incredible new study on drug testing that shows you can pee dirty even after abstaining and peeing clean several times.  This may have enormous ramifications in protecting people falsely accused of violating probation or failing a drug test.

    Oh, there are many more readers than 60. We get about 1,700 hits per day. Problem is that not everybody is hitting the main page; many are clicking over from a Google search onto one specific post. Plus the polls on the sidebar rotate through all the open polls randomly, so there isn’t always the same poll to answer. Finally, many people do not vote because they do not wish to leave their digital fingerprint on a marijuana-related site (the polls do track your IP address).

    I am interested in knowing why the total votes on these things are so low. I hope that more than 30-40-60 people read the stash daily. do people just not vote.

    anyways Russ, keep up the work. this is real science. real life, every day stoner numbers.

    I bet the docs could come up with some good questions.
    Listener questions might be fun.

    I voted sober and at work,I am a Lapidarist and work from the home.I like catching the “STASH” at night after its dark,then I self medicate!!! HOHOHOHO
