I am the host of the NORML SHOW LIVE and The NORML Stash Blog. I'm married, live in Portland, Oregon, and I am a registered medical marijuana caregiver in this state. I've worked days as an IT geek and nights as a professional musician. Previously, I have been the host of my own political talk radio show on satellite radio. I've been the High Times "Freedom Fighter of the Month" for my work producing Oregon NORML's TV show, "A Cannabis Community Forum", and for helping to institute Portland's wildly successful medical marijuana cardholders meetings, where we help sick and disabled Oregonians acquire cannabis plant starts, learn gardening, and understand the medical marijuana law. I've dedicated my life to bringing an end to adult marijuana prohibition and re-legalizing cannabis hemp, and I'm honored to be chosen by NORML to be our daily voice.

Living in the frigid climes of Minnesota, if I had the money and the ability to find a job in the legal state, I would move. However, if the legal state was in Texas, Louisiana or Florida, I would’nt move. The cultural and religious consevatism of those states would make it intolerable for me.
In Canada the federal government has jurisdiction over cannabis so if pot is legalized in Canada it would cover the whole country.
So where can I move ?
Keep up the pressure on your elected officials re-assure them that you support a compationate change to Cannabis laws. When I email my members of parliment I keep it short and make one or two points.
Going through that now, and if I didn’t have the support of my family, friends and fellow activsts I would be moving to the state up north.. a buckeyes nightmare! But I will stay here in OhighO with the fear and risk of jail or prison always around the corner for all of us in places that haven’t become enlightened to the truth and life saving properties of cannabis.
Depends on the State.
If it is warmer than the one I’m in….I’m outta here! Colder, I’d seriously consider, but would probably drive as well.
I guess I’ll vote “If I could afford to” as that is closest.
I wouldn’t move to the legal state, but I sure would drive there.
